One of the most important side quests in The Thaumaturge is Fearless, which involves finding and taming Salutor Djinn. The walkthrough from our guide will show you where to start the quest in the Mirow district, where to find the thief and how to follow her traces, how to spot Leila's Flaw in the Harem Brothel and how to provoke the Djinn into a confrontation.

Unlocking the side quest

1. You can start the quest at the earliest in act 1, after unlocking access to the Mirow district in Warsaw.
2. In the northern part of the district there is Goscinny Dwor. Enter this location, and watch a cut-scene showing Salutor Djinn. Wiktor has to find a person with a Flaw and provoke the Djinn into a fight.

Finding a person with a Flaw, followed by a Djinn

1. You have to examine the Goscinny Dwor marketplace - the entire location is marked with a red circle. First, use Perception to find Observations - these are Flower, Bench, Apple core, Signboard, Sculpture and Watch. You unlock the Bloom Conclusion.
2. Find a flower girl at the market - the picture shows her. You have to buy a flower from her (African Daisy trace). Continue the conversation, and you will establish that the florist is a person with the Flaw.
3. The woman will send security guards to Wiktor - you must defeat them in battle. Enemies have exceptionally high health, so it's essential to attack them one by one.

Following the trail of the thief from the Goscinny Dwor

1. Using persuasion creates a red trace that you must follow. On the way to a closer examination, there will be several areas from the Miro district (new red circles will appear on the map).
2. You will gain Small Toy Soldier and Stolen Watch Observations. Examining the water pump in the attached picture will take the hero to the desert area and start a confrontation with Ali and the desert warriors. Defeating them is one of the trials needed to reach the Djinn. They are not difficult, however, you cannot anticipate their attacks in advance.
3. You unlock the perceptions Water Pump and Vision, as well as the Chase Conclusion.

1. The trace leads further south and you will reach the thief's house near the laundry - the entrance to it is shown in the picture. You unlock the Door Observation and Busy Afternoon Conclusion.
2. Knock on the door - thanks to the previously discovered traces, you can choose the agreed signal. You will be allowed inside.
3. After a short conversation with Gabrys, you must convince the boy that you know his sister. Investigate the interior of the building - the Observations here are Constant Wariness, Carboard in a Window, Table, Blanket and Picture on a Wall. You unlock the New Beginning Conclusion.
4. In the next conversation, choose new dialogue options related to the latest traces. Gabrys will share his knowledge and suggest investigating the brothel.

1. Reach the north-western part of the Mirow district - there is the entrance to the Harem Brothel. Upon entering, Wiktor will note the presence of the Djinn again.
2. The woman you are looking for is Leila and the picture shows her. Join the conversation with her and the brothel owner - Tweezer (Like Home Observation). You must fight against the security of the brothel.

Finding a way to make Leila's Flaw visible

1. You need to investigate all the rooms of the brothel. In the main hall there are Armchair, Lipstick and Fancy Sculpture traces. In the room where Tweezer is, you will find a Watch.
2. There is a safe in the room at the back of the brothel. After opening it, you will find a Rolls of Banknotes trace and the Fearless Conclusion.
3. Return to the room where Tweezer is. Thanks to the traces you have obtained, you can convince the man that Leila is robbing him. As proof, present the combination to the safe or the gold watch.

This quest has two endings and the choice is made after revealing Leila's Flaw. You can:

1. Grab Leila's Flaw (first dialogue option in the picture) - Only this variant will trigger a fight with Salutor Djinn - this confrontation is described in the Bosses chapter.
2. Leave Leila's Flaw alone (second dialogue option) - Djinn will stay with the thief and you will not fight the boss, but you will irrevocably lose the chance to obtain this Salutor.
