Deep Rock Galactic Survivor can be played using a controller or Keyboard + Mouse combination. Many fans who enter game settings are surprised though, as they do not include controls. Why is that?
The answer is quite simply, DRG Survivor, as other games in the auto shooter/survivor genre, has simplistic controls. All you need to do is to move your character and navigate through menus – that’s all. The Dwarves shoots on their own, and you don’t have to interact with anything, as everything is picked automatically.

- If you want to change tabs in menus, use bumpers.
- You can navigate menus with D-pad or sticks.
- If you want to pause the game or enter menu, use B button (Xbox controller).
- Use the A button (Xbox controller) to accept.
- To move, you have to use the left stick.

- You can navigate menus thanks to WASD or arrows. Accept choices with Enter. Of course, a mouse is also a valid option to do everything.
- The ESC key takes you to the menu or pauses the game.
