All Signs Point to GTA 6 Release Closer to Beginning Than End of 2025
In a new job announcement from Rockstar Games studio, fans have caught on to a detail that may suggest the release of GTA 6 early next year.
After the first trailer of GTA VI, we are all waiting for the release date of the new installment of this cult series. Even though Rockstar Games studio doesn't want to reveal it yet - we only know that they are aiming for 2025 - hints are appearing on the internet that may suggest the approximate release date of this title.
Recently, devs from Rockstar provided another such "evidence in the investigation" - in the form of a job advertisement. The studio is seeking a tester for the developing Russian language version of the game (in the form of subtitles). However, the lucky candidate will sign a contract only for 12 months, i.e. until March 2025 (assuming it happens this month).
This is where the realm of "conspiracy theories" begins. According to fans, such an employment period may suggest that GTA VI will be released in March next year, and not in its second half. According to some Internet users, after the end of this cooperation, Rockstar would rather not wait another few months with the premiere because, during this time, the game would probably need further tests.
This is the third "evidence" supporting the release of GTA VI in March 2025. The first evidence was the plan set by Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar's parent company, with an expectation of reaching $8 billion in revenue by the end of the fiscal year 2025, which concludes on March 31, 2025. To generate such numbers, the presence of a "six" in the market is definitely necessary.
The second piece of evidence is the news about the mandatory return of Rockstar employees to the offices, which seems to confirm the final phase of GTA VI production and the imminent release of the game.
However, it's important to remember that the devs aim to perfect their game, so the ultimate release date will only be revealed when they decide to announce it. Until then, we are left with playing detectives and reading speculations, which should always be approached with a grain of salt.
