Metro Exodus: Hideouts and workbenches in Volga - list Metro Exodus Guide and Walkthrough

In Metro Exodus, you can find special places where you can hide from mutants or humans chasing you. These places are workbenches and hideouts. Use the bed in those places to heal Artyom and change the time of day. Here, you can also repair your weapons or craft ammo. The map above contains locations of hideouts and workbenches in the Volga.

Workbenches in the Volga

At workbenches, you can:

1. Upgrade weapons,
2. Craft medkits,
3. Craft ammo,
4. Upgrade equipment,
5. Craft a new weapon.

There are eight workbenches in the Volga. You will find them by doing the main missions.

In the Volga, you won't find any workbenches in the northern part of the map. These lands are covered in water. The small islands don't have any spots where you can rest.

Hideouts in the Volga

Artyom can use hideouts to escape from enemies chasing him. Also, these places have a bed - sleep in it to heal the main character and to change the time of day.

There are seven hideouts in the Volga. Enter these locations to add them to your map. You don't have to sleep inside them.

There are no hideouts in the north. The majority of them are in the south and in the east.
