In Assassin's Creed Valhalla you can acquire gear not only on missions but also from special chests that contain interesting items. You can get a new weapon, shield or pieces of armor for free. However, some of the chests with gear are hidden inside buildings, tunnels, underground, or are locked. On this page of our guide, you will learn where to find chests with gear in Hamtunscire.
Death-Skald
You will find this box on an island in the southern part of the region.
To get to it, just dive in and go down to the bottom. Between weeds, you will find a box with an arch.
Vordr's bite
You will find this weapon in the northeastern part of the area. Right next to the region border.
Your first task is to jump into a hole in the ground, which is easy to find because it's surrounded by broken boards.
Then, you have to move the elements that cover the passage, destroy the rubble and then get rid of the obstacles again. It's very dark there, so use a torch.
In the last room, on the right, there's a box is waiting for you. You don't have to be afraid of any dangers, no one should threaten you here.
Soldier's flail
You will find this chest in Chepeham.
All you have to do to get it is pull a shelf that will let you get higher in the building.
