Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is an RPG set in a popular universe by Games Workshop. It was developed by Owlcat Games, the creators of Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.

Plot

The game has us playing as the descendant of an ancient family of space mechants and explorers, traversing distant parts of the galaxy to expand the Empire's borders by the order of the Emperor. The family's been issued with a special document that grants them nearly unlimited freedom.

The player travels via spaceship, either adding new worlds to our trade trail or robbing them of valuable resources. We'll also encounter the forces of Chaos and numerous xeno races.

Mechanics

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is the first ever cRPG under the Warhammer license. We control a party of heroes, develop their stats and complete quests.

Tactical turn-based combat is a key part of the game. To come out on top, we must make good use of the characters' abilities.

The story is non-linear and shaped by the player's decisions.

Game modes

The game supports singleplayer and co-op for up to six people.

Technical aspects

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader features appealing 3D visuals, recreating the universe's atmosphere.
