Lazarus Labs | Secrets Doom Guide

This chapter contains description of Data Logs, Collectibles, Rune Trials, Elite Guards, Argent Cells, Secrets and Classic Map available in Lazarus Labs level.

Below you will find a thorough description of all secrets available on Lazarus Labs level. Among them there will be Data Logs, Elite Guards, Collectibles and the Demon Destruction game.

Data Log #1

Go to the nearby room at the beginning of the level, watch the hologram that will appear there and then pick up the Data Log lying in the left corner.

Secret #1

Walk to the neighbor location once the battle with first Possessed Soldiers end. Open the ammunition chest and then walk around the nearby large chests. You will find a tunnel leading to the next location.

Inside it there will be Mega Health (secret).

Elite Guard #1 and Data Log #2

Walk through the unlocked door after killing the demons next to the first Gore Nest. Kill the Imp and climb up. Turn around before you open the door and then jump into the tunnel. It will lead you to a room with Elite Guard and with Data Log.

Data Log #3 and Automap

Climb up through the shaft in the ceiling after upgrading your weapon by using the drone.

Slightly further you will encounter a few weak enemies. Kill them, pick up the Data Log on the right and then open the ventilation shaft in the wall on the left.

By jumping down you will reach the room with Automap.

Rune Trial #1

Once you find the Combat Drone, walk through the door slightly further and then go upstairs. When you will look down you will notice a hatch which you can open.

Keep going ahead on the other side and then climb one floor above through the hole at the end of the tunnel. You will reach the first Rune Trial in this level. In order to obtain the Rich Get Richer rune you must kill all the enemies before the time runs out. Sadly, the killed enemies won't leave any items behind. The key to victory is to keep distance. Rockets deal great number of damage both to enemies and to the protagonist if they die too close. First quickly get rid of the enemies on the left and then hide behind the pillar and kill the Cacodemon. Further in the encounter your priority should be to eliminate the shooting opponents. Only in second order you should kill the charging demon by climbing on the stairs and jumping down. For completing the challenge you will receive a rune thanks to which you won't lose ammunition when you have 100 armor points.

Elite Guard #2

Slightly further from the first Rune Trial a larger battle with demons will start.

Once it is over, go to the other end of the location and open the sluice that is located there. Behind it an Elite Guard was hidden.

Mega Health and Collectible #1

At some point you will reach a gallery with artifacts.

Behind the second artifact on the left there is Mega Health and a tunnel that leads to the collectible (Eliteguy).

Collectible #2

After riding to the Lazarus Archive by using the elevator, climb one floor higher from the right side. There will be a red panel there and behind it a red light on the wall.

You can use it in order to unlock the second collectible (Toxicguy).

Data Log #4 and Argent Cell

Ride into the Lazarus Archive by using the elevator and keep going ahead. You will reach a place with Data Log and with computer that unlocks passage to hidden room.

Inside you will find armor, Argent Cell, ammunition chest and BFG ammunition.

Demon Destruction game

Check one of the computers at the wall after releasing the security locks from Helix Stone. There will be a game available on it that will allow you to complete the challenge.

Classic Map and Elite Guard #3

Kill the demons after using the Helix Stone. Watch the hologram and then enter the corridor on the right. It will lead you to a room with a hole in the ground.

On the right from it there is a lever.

Pull it and jump one floor below. Inside the hole there will be an Elite Guard and an entrance to Classic Map.

Elite Guard #4 and Rune Trial #2

After searching the third Elite Guard you must use the elevator in order to ride up. Demons will attack you once you walk through the door. Kill them and turn right, to the room with medical station and with computer that you must use.

Go to the nearby room once the short scene ends. More demons to kill will appear there. Once the last of them is dead, enter the room on the right above. There you will find a tunnel that will lead you to the place with the last Elite Guard and with Rune Trial.

In this challenge you must kill all enemies with the Gauss Cannon before the time runs out. The enemies won't leave any items and the protagonist will have only one health point. The key to success is use the pillars and covers and to keep strafing. It is best to eliminate the stronger enemies with alternative shot. Hide behind them behind cover, load the bullet and shoot it when the enemy is visible. For completing the trial you will receive the Saving Throw rune which will resurrect you just after you receive a deadly blow.

Data Log #5

Once the last battle before the boss ends, jump on the round elevator and ride one floor higher. There you will find the last Data Log and many useful items.
