In Assassin's Creed Odyssey you can develop three skill trees. These are the skills of a hunter, a warrior and an assassin. All skills are described on a separate page of this guide.

Basic information

On this page we have described the skills you need to develop in order to become the best assassin. These skills relate to sneaking and stealth kills. By developing these skills you will be able to freely eliminate single enemies, even the most tough ones, without exposing yourself to an attack from a whole band of enemies.

Such abilities are useful for killing the Kosmos Cultists. These characters are often surrounded by many bodyguards, which makes their elimination time consuming and tiring. By developing your assassin's skills, you will be able to sneak up to the Cultist, kill them, confirm the killing and quietly leave the enemy's territory, without exposing yourself to unnecessary fights.

Developing the spear

The Spear of Leonidas is a powerful artifact in Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The spear is mainly used as your weapon, but you must also develop it to unlock its better abilities.

To improve the spear you have to go to Andros Island, where the Ancient Forge of Hephaistos is located, which can upgrade your equipment.

The first opportunity to improve your spear appears when you start the third chapter of the main storyline, where you visit Andros Island - part of the main task of Memories Awoken. On Andros you will find the Ancient Forge of Hephaistos. In order to improve your spear you have to use a Mysterious Fragment. These are artifacts left by the Kosmos Cultists.

Vanish

This skill stuns enemies for a few seconds. This is an ideal opportunity to escape or change your position. This skill must be assigned to special abilities in order to be able to use it.

The development of this skill increases the duration of the stun effect.

Shadow Assassin

This is the best skill for an assassin. Allows you to carry out assassinations and knock down your opponent. When a stealth kill is executed, the hero automatically loots the fallen opponent. In addition, the chance for dealing critical damage is increased.

Developing this ability will increase assassination damage and ensure that the adrenaline bar automatically fills up to 50%.

Rush Assassination

This skill allows you to throw the Spear of Leonidas at your opponent. If you do this, your character will automatically run up to opponent you've just hit (this is not affected by distance) and tear the weapon out of his chest. This way you can deal a very large amount of damage.

By developing this ability, you increase the amount of dealt damage.

Critical Assassination

This skill ensures the execution of a critical assassination. While performing this attack, you must be out of open conflict. This attack deals 100, 200 or even 300% assassin damage.

By developing this ability, you increase the amount of dealt damage.

Stealth Master

By developing this skill, you will be able to move around unnoticed. This skill reduces the noises made during movement and attacks.

In addition, at night, assassin attacks increase their strength so that they are even more effective.
