On this page of the LEGO Skywalker Saga game guide, you can find the second part of the Episode 2 walkthrough (Attack of the Clones). Our guide will walk you through The Hunt for Jango level. You will learn how to serve the diner's customers, how to defeat the Jango Fett boss at the landing field, how to locate Jango Fett's starship and damage it enough, and more.
Missing Pieces
The adventure continues in the Uscru District once the chase sequence from the first story quest ends in an emergency landing.
You need to head towards Dex's Diner. Once there, go inside, step into the blue circle and talk to the owner of the joint.
You'll get the simple task of fulfilling the orders of the diner's customers. Approach them in any order. By talking to the customers, you'll learn the name of the dish they've selected and see its icon. This will make it easier for you to find the matching order and deliver it to the table.
After serving all 5 clients, you'll be able to talk to Dex again.
You'll get new quests to explore planet Kamino in the Jedi archives. Reach the taxi indicated by the game and travel to the Federal District.
Then take another taxi, but this time choose the Jedi Temple as your destination. Approach the building's entrance. Inside the temple, switch to R4-P17 and use the blue terminal by completing the familiar mini-game of rotating and matching rings. Your goal is to step into the new blue circle.
After receiving the next quest objective, start by returning to the taxi. Select the North Landing Pad and go to the team's starship. Choose planet Kamino as your destination.
Once you have entered its orbit, locate Tipoca City on the planet's surface and land in the area. After landing, talk to Lama Su, who is standing at the building's entrance, to initiate a tour of the complex here.
Bounty Hunter Blues
When the cut-scenes end, you'll be tasked with capturing Jango Fett, beginning your pursuit of him.
The first battle against Jango Fett will take place at the landing site, where he is treated as a mini-boss, so you shouldn't expect the fight to be long or especially challenging. The best strategy against the bounty hunter is to throw your lightsaber to avoid even getting close to him.
During this fight, you'll need to watch out for enemy starship fire and the missiles fired by Jango. These special attacks are indicated by red lines and circles, and you have to move away from them in advance to avoid taking damage.
You won't be able to beat Jango Fett right now. He will escape during a cut-scene, but you'll get to fight him again soon enough.
You'll receive quests to follow the transmitter, allowing you to chase after Jango Fett. Start by returning to the landing site (go through the large building again). Select Kamino Space from the galaxy map.
The Hunt for Jango level marker will appear in the planet's orbit. Head towards it to begin the story quest.
The Hunt for Jango - challenges
This level features 3 challenges:
- Do an Aileron Roll! - You need to barrel roll 3 times to avoid homing missiles. Wait for the notification that a projectile is flying in your direction and do a barrel roll at the right moment.
- Charged up - You have to complete the level without getting hit by a seismic charge. This is one of the attacks of Jango Fett's starship that we have described in the walkthrough. Simply make sure to keep your distance from where the charges will explode.
- Flying is for Droids - You have to fly through the tunnel in the largest asteroid without crashing. Specifically, it's the tunnel from the screenshot above, which you'll need to inspect during your search for Jango's Starship. The best course of action is to fly slowly, which will make you less likely to collide with the walls.
The Hunt for Jango - walkthrough
During this story quest, you'll have a more serious encounter against Jango Fett, or more specifically his starship. In order to defeat Jango Fett's starship, you'll have to reduce both the blue shield bar and the red starship's hull bar to zero 3 times.
Pay attention to the yellow marker displaying the current location of Jango's starship. When firing, aim at the small circle "preceding" the starship to correct the projectile trajectory.
During this battle, you have to react to notifications about incoming rockets (example in the screenshot). In these situations, do barrel rolls or rollovers. We don't recommend doing barrel rolls near asteroids, as you might accidentally hit them.
Jango will also drop Seismic Charge traps. They pulsate red, making them easier to spot (example in the screenshot). When avoiding them, keep a good distance so that the shock-waves generated when they explode don't reach your ship.
During this stage, you'll have to uncover Jango's hiding spot twice. This task is easy, since all you need to do is fly to the locations marked in yellow. These are within various asteroids, through which you'll have to fly to continue the chase. It's a good idea to lower your flight speed to reduce the risk of colliding with one of the asteroid fragments.
Once you have decreased both of Jango's starship's energy bars to zero three times, the quest will conclude with a cut-scene. One more encounter against the bounty hunter awaits you later in the game.
