How to meet Halsin in act 1?

1. You can find out that druid Halsin disappeared during your visit to the Druid Grove in act 1, but this is an optional step. The man is imprisoned in a goblin camp. We described the infiltration of this location in more detail on the How to get to the goblin camp? page in the FAQ section. There are several available ways to enter that location.
2. It's very important not to ally with goblins and attack the Druid Grove. This might ruin the chances of Halsin joining your party.

1. When exploring the goblin camp, get to the Shattered Sanctum, and then to the Worg Pens.
2. You will watch a cut-scene in which goblins are throwing stones at a bear in a cage. The initial reaction is irrelevant, because the bear will always get out after breaking the gate - this starts the fight. Help the bear in killing goblins and worgs from the nearby cage. Also expect that the enemies will get reinforcements (they will arrive through the door you used to reach this area). Don't let the bear die.

1. After the battles are over, you find out that druid Halsin you are looking for is the bear.
2. You can talk to Halsin and ask him for help. You can now add him to the party or send him back to camp. Do not refuse Halsin.
3. There is also an alternative variant in which you defeated the leaders of the goblin camp without rescuing Halsin, meaning without reaching the cage in which he was imprisoned while in the bear form. This will not ruin your chances to get this character. You can find Halsin in the Druid Grove after some time has passed. This will allow you to recruit him.

How to gain the approval of the druid?

To get approval with Halsin, you can:

1. make decisions consistent with his beliefs;
2. avoid having characters in the party with whom he may argue.
