While visiting Footfall in Rogue Trader you'll come across and be able to join a mysterious funeral ceremony. Underworld, the quest that is the subject of this page, has different possible endings. On this page of our guide, we show how to reveal Fidelio's true identity, or alternatively lie your way through and after some extensive exploring and fighting, receive 4 Profit Factor.
How to discover Fidelio's identity?
As you enter the ceremony grounds, you'll be accosted by First Mate Daggen. If you want to learn Fidelio's identity, choose the dialogue option in which you tell the truth and introduce yourself as Von Valancius. Take part in the ceremony.
When the cutscene ends, you have to perform the following actions:
- Examine the body in the coffin.
- Examine the Book of Remembrance on the altar opposite the coffin.
- Talk to Chaplain who is standing at the railing.
- When talking to Chaplain, do not select the I wish to intervene in the matter of the inheritance dialogue option.
- Talk to Adelia, you will find her next to Chaplain.
- Talk to Kas Bellardo, who is found engaging in a conversation with two characters.
- Talk to First Mate Daggen, who is leaning on the pillar.
After interviewing all the guests and examining every clue, return to Chaplain and select the dialogue option:
- I would like to discuss with you what I've been able to uncover in regard to the mysterious Fidelio.
You can now check out all dialogue options during the conversation with the Chaplain. Once you have discussed everything and mentioned the ship and the woman, end the conversation.
Now, talk to Servitor who is standing next to First Mate Daggen. When you select Repentance, it will turn out that she is the mysterious Fidelio.
In next dialogues, you can decide who should inherit the wealth. Regardless of the choice, you will receive 154 experience points.
How to gain 4 Profit Factor points in Underworld quest?
If during the first conversation with First Mate Daggen you lie and introduce yourself as Fidelio, the quest will turn out completely different. You will no longer be able to learn Fidelio's true identity, but you will have a chance to earn 4 Profit Factor points and visit 2 secret locations only available in this variant of the quest.
After the cutscene, examine the door north of the coffin. Watch out for a trap planted on the door. After approaching the door, Clerk will talk to you and ask you to retrieve a few items from the crematory oven. Agree and come inside.
Jump into the oven and try to open the box on the floor. When the furnace door closes and the whole matter turns out to be a deadly trap, click on one of your characters. Use any attack and hit the floor tile.
You'll be dropped into the sewers. The man that helped extinguish the fires on you will show you the way back to Atrium. Investigate every corner of the sewers and open all chests.
After exiting the sewers, you will find yourself in Warehouse. Before leaving the warehouse, you will be approached by Clerk again. Regardless of which dialogue option you choose, you will still end up fighting a group of 7 opponents.
When you finally manage to return to the Atrium in Footfall, go to the funeral ceremony site. This time you will have to fight with 14 guests from the funeral.
After winning the fight, you will immediately receive 3 Profit Factor points. Next, choose the dialogue option in which you inherit the estate after the deceased. You will get another Profit Factor point.
With this variant of the quest, you won't learn the identity of Fidelio, but still receive 154 experience points.
