Grass Roots - The Drag GTA 5 guide, walkthrough

Location: This mission becomes available some time after the completion of the Grass Roots - Franklin optional mission. You need to wait until you receive a message from Barry. You can now set out to find the car in the La Puerta district, located in the South-Western part of Los Santos, close to the airport. Examine the area within the large green circle. The location of the car has been presented in screenshot 1 and it is a dilapidated Albany Emperor (screenshot 2).

The Towtruck

The attempt to start the car's engine will end in a failure so, get out of the car and take a look around for a Towtruck. Your new task will be to tow the wreckage away, towards Barry's living place.

Park the towtruck right in front of the wreckage and lower the crane

Park exactly in front of the wreckage, lower the crane (the appropriate movement with the left analog stick) and rev up carefully, to hook the car. Lift the crane only after that and drive towards the marked area. After you get near Barry's apartment, lower the crane, unhook the car and drive away from here. Wait for a phone call from Barry, which will conclude this mission.

Rewards for completing the mission: none

Requirements for the completion of the mission in 100%:

• Hooked - You cannot let the car unhook until you reach Barry's apartment.
• Time - You need to complete this mission within 1 minute and 30 seconds. As quickly as possible, hook the car with the towtruck and avoid unnecessary braking as you tow the car. Whenever necessary, activate Franklin's special skill.
