A-maze-ing Victory!
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Defeat a Minotaur
Commentary: The fight with a Minotaur happens during one of the side quests available on Messara.
A Pirate's Life for Me
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete Xenia's storyline.
Commentary: Xenia is the leader of the pirates who live on Keos. Your first encounter with her happens during the fifth chapter (episode) - Island of Misfortune main quest. You can now complete the treasure maps quests. Find five treasures to unlock this trophy/achievement.
An Odyssey in the Making
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete the first chapter.
Comment: This trophy is unlocked automatically when completing main story quests.
Aphrodite's Embrace
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Go to bed with another character
Comment: This trophy is related with romances that are available in the game. You have to conduct a romance in such way so that you spend a night with another character. See Romances chapter in this walkthrough to see the list of potential candidates. In the initial stages of the game, you can seduce Odessa by saving her in Kephallonia and completing her quests while visiting Megaris. The romance option with Odessa is available regardless of the main protagonist's gender.
Are You Not Entertained?
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Become the Champion of the Arena.
Notes: The Arena is located on the Pephka Island, in the south-west part of the map. An invitation can be looted from a killed mercenary; the game will also unlock the They Just Want Cruelty side quest. The most reasonable way of approaching the Arena fights is getting there on level 50 - that's also the level of the last boss there. Fighting in the Arena is further explained in the How to get to Arena? chapter in this guide.
Note - Defeat all other enemies before you face the Arena's most powerful warrior (the one with level 50). Killing the weaker warriors is mandatory for this trophy/achievement.
Birthright
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Find Atlantis and talk to Pythagoras
Commentary: Visiting Atlantis is associated with the quest "A Family's Legacy" commissioned by Myrrine in the seventh chapter (episode) of the game. As part of this task, you must:
- Visit the Thera island (picture 1).
- Solve the riddle with mirrors on the island (check our walkthrough).
- Examine the underground structure. The meeting with Pythagoras takes place in the last big hall (picture 2) and he commissions the quest "The Gates of Atlantis" from finding the artifacts of the First Civilization (searching for artifacts is no longer required for the purpose of achievement).
Blood Sport
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Defeat a mercenary on the Arena.
Notes: The info about finding the arena can be found in the description of the Are You Not Entertained? achievement, as well as in the How to get to Arena chapter in this guide. After meeting Skoura, who is the master of ceremony in the Arena, you will be able to choose the penultimate option from the list - a fight with a mercenary (the mercenary's identity is random, it can differ from the one presented in the picture 1).
The selected mercenary should be on the same level as your character. This means that the difficulty depends on your equipment and its quality.
Child of Poseidon
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Complete all underwater locations.
Commentary: The game features 42 underwater locations - the picture above shows one of them. This trophy/achievement takes a lot of time but the exploration of those locations shouldn't cause you any problems. Send the eagle before you dive - the animal will help you locate treasures and other secrets found in a particular underwater location. After that you simply have to swim towards them (watch out for sharks and limited air!).
Demigod
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Unlock level 50.
Comment: You do not have to prepare to unlock this trophy. Each activity in the game is awarded experience points. The most XP can be achieved by completing quests and objectives in major locations (e.g. forts).
See our leveling guide: How to get XP fast?
Democracy Falls
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete chapter 6.
Comment: This trophy is unlocked automatically when completing the main storyline.
Epic Cycle
Trophy type: platinum
How to unlock: Unlock all trophies.
Comment: Available only on PS4.
Everybody Benefits
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete Markos' storyline.
Commentary: Additional quests related to Markos can be found on Kos island.
Evil Unearthed
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete chapter 3.
Comment: This trophy is unlocked automatically when completing the main storyline.
Eye on the Prize
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Defeat Cyclopes.
Commentary: The fight with the Cyclops takes place during one of the side quests available on Kythera island. NOTE - this ISN'T the same Cyclops as the one found on Kephallonia Islands.
Fashion's Creed
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Wear a set of legendary armor pieces.
Comment: Gold armor elements acquired throughout the game can come from different sets. In the example above you can see a belt that is a part of the Pilgrim Set. This trophy is quite time-consuming and it requires you to collect gold items. Eventually, you have to acquire and wear (put them in 5 slots for different armor pieces) elements coming from the same legendary set. More details about this achievement/trophy can be found on one of the pages in our trophy guide.
From the Ashes
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete chapter 5.
Comment: This trophy is unlocked automatically when completing the main storyline.
Godly Power
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Unlock Tier 3 Active Ability.
Comment: Each active ability (e.g. Bull Rush from the example above) has 3 tiers. Each tier makes the ability more powerful. Upon unlocking tier 1 you can familiarize yourself with the requirements to unlock tier 2. The game does not allow you to unlock higher tiers in the early stages of the game.
The game will let you advance chosen skills to the second level after you upgrade Leonidas' spear for the first time (as part of the main quest). In order to reach level 3, the spear has to be upgraded to level 5. More about that in the section called Legacy Restored.
Going for Gold
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Complete Olympic storyline.
Commentary: Quests related to the Olympic games can be completed in Elis region (the seventh chapter). You won't miss them - your character participates in the games during the main storyline.
Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Purchase first Adrestia upgrade.
Comment: Adrestia is a ship you get to command after completing several initial main quests. In order to get this trophy, you need to unlock any one of the ship's upgrades. This can be the Arrow Volleys upgrade visible in the example above - in order to upgrade into tier 2 you have to spend 105 oil wood, 60 soft pelts, and 1090 gold.
Hermes's Homie
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Discover all subregions of Greece.
Notes: This is a time-consuming achievement, but one that's not overly complicated. You have to unlock all regions on the world map. Most regions consist of a number of smaller fragments. Each of them has to be visited in order for the game to consider them discovered. YOU DON'T have to discover and explore all the question marks on the world map.
Hero for Hire
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Win first Conquest Battle in any region except Megaris.
Comment: A detailed description of how to unlock this trophy can be found in a separate section of this walkthrough.
I Am Legend
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Equip your character with 1 legendary melee weapon and 5 legendary pieces of armor.
Comment: Acquiring legendary melee weapon is described in the Shiny! Trophy - it might be the Nikolaos' sword you acquire when completing the main storyline.
Acquiring 5 legendary pieces of armor is more time-consuming. Focus on completing quests, Conquest Battles and eliminating cultists. This will gradually allow you to acquire more gold items. Upon having a gold piece of armor of each category, equip them (an example of a golden set is on the picture - a horse's "outfit" may be of a different colour).
I Have the Power
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Mount Overpower attacks with all available weapon type.
Comment: The overpower attacks can be mounted after unlocking the Overpower Attack ability (screenshot above). It is possible to unlock upon reaching level 16.
In order to perform an Overpower attack, you need to have at least three portions of the adrenaline bar filled. Mount the attack for each category of weapons (sword, dagger, spear, etc.) until you get the trophy.
In Perseus's Image
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Defeat Medusa.
Commentary: You can fight with Medusa during one of the side quests found on Lesbos island.
Infamous
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Reach the maximum bounty level.
Comment: This trophy regards the punishment system for committing crimes. Each time you break the law, the red bar in the bottom right part of the screen will extend (the bar is shown in the example above). Fill up the entire bar.
The easiest way of obtaining this achievement is visiting one of the bigger cities in the game. Just start killing everyone in your way. This is a bit drastic but fill the bar quickly. As the bars fill, the protagonist will be increasingly outnumbered by headhunters. Using this method should allow you to fulfill the level requirements before the hunters track you down. If you didn't manage to avoid them, killing a mercenary won't help with the achievement at all.
Island Hopper
Trophy type: gold
How to unlock: Complete 20 quests in Pephka, Obsidian and Abantis Islands.
Notes: Visit these locations. There, you can mostly complete main quests, side quests, or check out notification boards.
Legacy Restored
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Upgrade Leonidas' Spear to Tier 6.
Notes: A precise breakdown of this achievement can be found in the Legacy Restored Trophy section.
A legend in the Making
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete chapter 7.
Comment: This trophy is unlocked automatically when completing the main storyline.
Lord of the Seas
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Fully upgrade Adestria.
Comment: Adestria is a ship you get to control after you defeat Cyclops on Kephallonia. The list of all available ship upgrades is visible on the left-hand side. This is a time-consuming trophy, as acquiring new upgrades requires you to have a lot of gold and resources.
Make It Your Own
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Make the first engraving.
Comment: More details on how to unlock this trophy can be found in a separate section of this walkthrough.
Master of the Hunt
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete the Daughters of Artemis storyline.
Comment: More details on how to unlock this trophy can be found in a separate section of this walkthrough.
Misthios in Training
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete 20 Bounties, War Contracts or Naval Quests from the notice boards.
Comment: Notice boards can be found by the statues in all larger villages and cities throughout the in-game world. Accept new quests and complete the consecutively.
Odyssey's End
Trophy type: gold
How to unlock: Complete chapter 9.
Comment: This trophy is unlocked upon completing the game, no matter which ending was unlocked.
One Head Down...
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Defeat all Cultists of Kosmos from a given branch.
Comment: More information on eliminating Cultists of Kosmos can be found in the description of The Cult Unmasked trophy. In order to unlock this trophy, you do not have to kill all of them, only characters that represent a given branch of the cultists' tree. An example of a branch that can be used for this is shown on the picture 1 - there are seven different alternatives available.
First, you have to eliminate five "lesser" Cultists - this will unlock the option to learn the Sage's identity. Track and kill this person to unlock this trophy/achievement (the picture 2).
Past Mistakes
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete chapter 2.
Comment: This trophy is unlocked automatically when completing the main storyline.
Ramming Speed
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Cut another ship in half.
Comment: A detailed description of how to unlock this trophy can be found in a separate section of this trophy guide.
Riddle Me This
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Defeat the Sphinx.
Commentary: The fight with Sphynx takes place during one of the side quests in Boeotia region.
Scourge of the Aegean
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Sink an Epic Ship.
Commentary: Encounters with Epic Ships are rare. One of these ships is commanded by Asterion. He is one of the Cultists of Kosmos. His ship can be found in the place presented in the picture - south from Abantis Islands and north from Andros.
Before you get closer to an Epic Ship you have to be sure that your level is high enough. Also, you can think about investing a bit of gold and resources in ship upgrades. This will increase your chances against these opponents. You can also save the game or reduce the difficulty level before you start a battle.
Note - Epic ship can be accompanied by smaller units. Choose whether you want to deal with them first or to ignore them and aim at sinking the main vessel.
Shiny!
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Acquire your first legendary item and equip your character with it.
Comment: This trophy can be easily unlocked by progressing with the main storyline. In the second chapter of the campaign, you get to meet Nikolaos. No matter how you approach this, during this encounter, you will receive the Nikolaos's Sword, which is a legendary gold item. Select it for an active melee weapon to unlock this trophy.
Stink Eye
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Retrieve the Eye of the Cyclops from the goat on Kephallonia.
Commentary: Detailed description of how to unlock this achievement can be found on a separate section of this guide.
Taking Back Athens
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Complete chapter 8.
Comment: This trophy is unlocked automatically when completing the main storyline.
The Argonauts
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Hire only elite, legendary lieutenants to Adrestia's crew.
Comment: The instructions on how to "recruit" legendary lieutenants can be found in the description of the You Work for Me Now trophy. Just to remind you - gold NPCs are some of the fort commanders and mercenaries (a recon performed by Ikaros can help you determine who you are dealing with). In order to recruit an opponent, the main protagonist has to maximally weaken him and then stun him with e.g. Sparta Kick.
Initially, there is only one lieutenant slot available. More slots can be unlocked as you upgrade your ship's hull. Eventually, you have to put legendary lieutenants in all four slots (as shown in the screenshot).
The Bright Minds
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete chapter 4.
Comment: This trophy is unlocked automatically when completing the main storyline.
The Cult Unmasked
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Defeat all Cultists of Kosmos.
Comment: Your first encounter with the Cultists of Kosmoswill be on Phokis when you are exploring the location beneath the temple of Apollo as a part of the main storyline. It will add a new tab to the pause menu (screenshot above). From now on you can identify and locate other cultists from the tree. More info about this is available in Kosmos Cultists chapter of this guide.
The Midas Touch
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Put a legendary engraving on a legendary weapon.
Comment: More details on engraving can be found in the description of the Make It Your Own trophy. You need to unlock any of the legendary (gold) engravings and then engrave it on one of your legendary (gold) weapons.
You unlock a new legendary engraving every time when you get a legendary weapon (you can get them as loot or by completing quests or killing Cultists). You need two legendary (gold) weapons. Engrave the second weapon with the engraving from the first one - the picture above shows an example.
This is Sparta!
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete the Battle of 300.
Comment: The trophy is automatically unlocked upon finishing the prologue.
Top of the Food Chain
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Reach Mercenary Tier 1.
Commentary: You can check your tier in the mercenary menu (9 is the lowest, 1 is the highest). To reach higher tiers you have to hunt down and kill high tier mercenaries. Only those kills will allow you to level up. Killing mercenary from a lower tier won't change anything.
Trust Me, I'm a Doctor
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete the Hippocrates's storyline.
Commentary: You can meet Hippokrates in Boeotia region. After that you have to complete two quests related to this character.
War Master
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Defeat a commander of any region with little resources, except Megaris.
Notes: The game lets you learn the mechanics of eliminating a commander on Megaris, but the achievement can only be obtained after the tutorial, at any point of the game (after reaching Fokida, for example). It's nearly always the case that when you arrive in a new section of the game, the leader is unknown. You can find their grey icon on the map, or go to the Leader House (usually in the main village/town of the region).
After location, the leader, start doing things aimed at weakening the region (killing soldiers, destroying supply crates, stealing from chests, etc.) After weakening the region, go to the identified leader and get rid of them. This should be easy since weakening the region often implies the leader loses guards or leaves their secret hiding place.
Weaken one of the smaller regions in the game, i.e. Keos. This island has only two locations that have impact on Nation Power. This means that you can quickly cause a situation where the region is low on supplies.
Wrath of the Amazons
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Cut in half a ship with your crew comprised only of women.
Commentary: You need to unlock Female Crew Ship Cosmetic. This can be done by, i.e. completing all quests related to the Olympic games.
Commentary: A detailed description of how to unlock this achievement can be found on a separate page of the guide.
You Work for Me Now
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Recruit a legendary character and assign it to do work on the ship.
Comment: A detailed description of how to unlock this trophy can be found in a separate section of this walkthrough.
