The Fine Joys of Tobacco is one of the main missions available in the third chapter of Red Dead Redemption 2. In this mission, you will have to sneak, set plantations on fire and, of course, shoot a bit.
How to unlock: After "Magicians for Sport" or "Advertising, the New American Art".
Walkthrough: Reach Braithwaite to start this mission. Get on the wagon. Head to the appointed place - Arthur decides to hide in the wagon's back. Leave the wagon when it stops. Stealth kill one of the guards.
Night falls - follow Sean and let him eliminate the guard. Pour the moonshine on the tobacco field. The plantation is patrolled by a few guards - sneak behind their back and enter the highlighted places. There, you have to press R2/RT to pour the alcohol.
The task isn't difficult - Arthur is almost undetectable in the tobacco. The only problem here is to avoid the guards. Pay attention to the red dots on the mini-map and try to run behind their back. Your next goal is to enter the marked barn and stealth kill the guard.
Time for some fun. Select Molotov cocktail and burn the barn. Then, go to the fields and burn them too. As you can probably tell, this ruckus will alarm the guards. Prepare yourself for a firefight.
You reach the wagon with horses - cut them free. Get on a horse and move away from the plantation. Speak with Sean. This ends the mission.
How to get a gold medal in The Fine Joys of Tobacco?
- Silently kill the Gray Sean distracts in the wagon store - Leave the wagon and get behind the Gray's back to stealth kill him.
- Douse the fields within 2 minutes 20 second - Be on the move and remember to press sprint when you are crouching. Move from one field to another, and pour the moonshine as fast as you can.
- Kill 5 Grays during the escape - While on the horse, stay close to Sean and quickly eliminate the enemies.
- Complete the mission without using items that replenish health.
