Vehicles are an important part of Cyberpunk 2077. Even if you prefer to fast travel, at times, you will have to use vehicles. On this page, we have described the most important information about cars and motorcycles.

Stealing and buying a car
Stealing a car is related to two attributes - Technical Ability and Body. When you get close to someone else's car, you will see what level of the attribute you need to steal the vehicle. If you meet the requirements, you can steal the car - but remember that it is a crime, so the police can start chasing you.
Technical Ability is required to steal parked cars, and Body attribute to moving cars. It is worth mentioning that not all cars require these attributes - you can steal some without limitations.
Of course, you can also buy vehicles. In Cyberpunk 2077 this is a part of the missions. From time to time, you will receive a message with a sale offer - a new mission in the Rides category will appear in your log. This way, you can easily find the vehicle for sale - all you have to do is activate the task and go to the marked point.

Change of the camera
After entering the vehicle, you can decide which camera mode you want to use. You can choose a view from the first or third person. Depending on your preferences, you can freely switch between modes.

Radio and switching the station
The ride is made more enjoyable by music - the creators have prepared several radio stations dedicated to various music genres. Change the radio station using the following keys:

Of course, you can also turn the music off completely by selecting no station in the radio menu.
Garage and vehicle improvement
You will not find your own physical garage in the game. Instead, the change a car you can use a separate menu, which you can activate with the buttons:

In the vehicles menu, you will find only received and purchased cars and motorcycles. It is not possible to keep a stolen vehicle permanently.
In Cyberpunk 2077, there is no way to improve vehicles. You cannot improve the speed or grip of your car or motorcycle - the performance is always the same. It's worth mentioning that your vehicles may be damaged, but this is not a permanent effect. All you have to do is to summon your vehicle again and the damage will be removed.

Races
Another vehicle-related element is optional races. You can participate in them as part of The Beast In Me mission, which you will receive on the phone from Claire Russell (you just have to wait for the contact). Races take place in four districts: City Center, Badlands, Santo Domingo, and Watson.
Each race is about reaching the finish line as quickly as possible and passing control points. For a place on the podium (top three drivers), you will receive credits.

Chasing and shooting while driving
In story missions, you will often have the opportunity to take part in chases and shootings during the ride. You will use your weapon and, in some cases, a cannon or other vehicle armament. Unfortunately, shooting while driving is only available in missions. It is not possible to lean and shoot at any time you want.
The best car
It is difficult to determine which vehicle in Cyberpunk 2077 is the best - the choice most often depends on the subjective impressions of driving (acceleration of the vehicle or its grip on the road). For sure, one of the most interesting vehicles is the Basilisk - a tank that you will be able to use during the Queen of the Highway quest.
