Control: Board countermeasures and Alerts Control guide, walkthrough

When visiting control points, you will find the opportunity to use the so-called Board countermeasures. In this chapter of our Control guide, we discuss these mysterious missions.

Board countermeasures can be treated as combat challenges. Very often, these challenges are based on killing enemies in a certain way, reaching a certain room and fighting a bunch of enemies, or, for example, staying alive while exterminating The Hiss. Of course, we will be rewarded for completing these challenges.

Board countermeasures are a good way to collect additional materials, modifications, or source points. The challenges are updated periodically, so keep an eye on them, and chose the ones that you will definitely be able to complete soon. It is worth remembering them, as it is a good way to quickly strengthen the character and get more modifications.

Bureau Alerts are random tasks that occur from time to time during the game. You have to go to the specified location and battle with a very large number of enemies. The rewards are far better than those received for completing Board countermeasures. These tasks also have a time limit - you have a certain amount of time to activate them, e.g. 20 minutes. If you die during an Alert, you won't be able to complete it, and you will have to wait until a new quest appears.
