How to unlock mission: After finishing "Bar Knuckle Friendships" mission.
Mission walkthrough: Meet Sadie and drive with her to the hill. On the spot, equip yourself with binoculars and take a look at your targets. As enemies begin to move, return to your horse and stay close to your companion. Eventually you'll get to them and you can choose whether you want to attack the gang directly (threatening them will work the same way), or choose a sneaking option.
Personally, I recommend direct confrontation, because it will be easier for you to complete the hidden goals that lead to a gold medal in this mission. Fight, shoot your enemies and go downhill until you reach Shane Finley.
Lift the man, place him on a horse and follow Sadie. Along the way you'll come across many enemies - if you want to win a gold medal, drive slowly and focus on exterminating all your enemies. You have no time limits, so don't hurry up - just watch out for Sadie's state of health.
After escaping, you'll reach Blackwater. Take the man to the cell and win a reward for his capture. Mission completed!
How to get gold medal in An Honest Day's Labors?
- Kill all of Langton's people in horseback escape - It's best to drive slowly and kill enemies systematically as soon as they appear.
- After choosing a tactic, run away with Shane Finley in less than 5 minutes - It's better to bet on an offensive variant and reach Shane quickly.
- Complete with at least 70% accuracy - This is a typical challenge in RDR2 - you have to take care of your accuracy.
- Complete the mission without using health-regenerating items.
