Goblin Stone PC

Goblin Stone is a tactical RPG with a turn-based combat system, which represents the debut project of independent studio Orc Chop Games.

The plot

The action takes place in a fantasy world. The game tells the story of a group of goblins who managed to survive from pogroms carried out by adventurers. In order for their species not to become completely extinct, these creatures must travel the land, gain strength, rebuild the size of their army and eventually eliminate the heroes who hunt them.

Mechanics

In Goblin Stone, you command a group of goblins, leading them on adventures in a world full of dangers and giving them orders during battles played in turn-based mode. In skirmishes the key role is played by the positioning of characters and efficient use of their class special abilities.

The game is enriched by strategic elements in the form of managing a goblin colony, in which we build various chambers. We invest in its development the treasures and resources accumulated during the adventures. We also deal with prudent breeding of goblins, choosing individuals who have the most desirable traits.

Theadventures are procedurally generated, so that fresh challenges always await the player (as intended). On top of that, every death is final, forcing careful management of our goblin colony's resources.

Game modes

The game offers a single-player mode only.

Technical issues

Goblin Stone has a graphic design that combines 2D and 3D elements, all done in a cartoonish style. The game is made more enjoyable by a soundtrack composed by Peter McConnell, known, among others, as the author of the music for Hearthstone.
