Eastward Bound is the title of the mission ending the first chapter of the main storyline in Red Dead Redemption 2. It's a very simple task, in which you have to make a longer journey by cart to the camp near Horseshoe Overlook.
How to unlock: Automatically after completing the mission Who the Hell is Leviticus Cornwall?
Walkthrough: You start the mission when driving a cart. Follow the road marked on the radar. One of the wheels of the cart will soon be damaged. Jump off the wagon and approach the wheel to lift it. Roll it to the damaged car and hit it several times to replace them.
There's a rather long journey ahead of you now. Stop for a moment after you notice Javier. This will allow him to jump on the cart and continue the crossing together. The mission will end when he reaches the hill near Horseshoe Overlook. From this point on, the spot becomes the camp of the main hero's gang. You will advance to the second chapter of the campaign.
How to get golden medal in Eastward Bound?
- Pick up Javier when entering Horseshoe Overlook - The place where you find him is shown in the picture above. This is the final part of the mission.
- Complete the mission in less than 6 minutes - For this challenge, always try to travel at the maximum possible speed. Don't waste too much time changing the wheel and stopping next to Javier.
