After getting help from Olav and the natives, Eivor heads into the wilderness to get and kill Gorm.
Reward: 3400 XP.
Find and assassinate Gorm
Gorm has established a network of camps in the woods to serve his endeavor. Each of them is excellently guarded, so it won't be easy to get in, especially without extra equipment. It is therefore worth trading with the locals (barter) in order to gain the weapons and armor you need.
You'll get your first raw materials from Olav, but you'll need a lot more to arm yourself well. You can talk to the local trader and buy your first weapon - a simple bladed weapon made of bone, which can help when you encounter wild game in the forests of Vinland. At this point, you can take two routes:
- Explore the map and visit camps to get more resources and exchange them for better weapons
- Immediately go to the appropriate camp and eliminate Gorm.
Gorm can be easily eliminated without having to farm better items if you have Advanced Assassination.
Assassinate Gorm
To make your search for Gorm a little easier, we've marked his exact location in the image above.
Hide in the bushes, at the location shown in the image above, and wait for Gorm to finish talking to the crystal.
Then take the right side to go around the encampment and lurk in the spot shown in the image above. Wait for a moment until one of the opponents takes position on the wooden tower, then tackle him from behind to eliminate him with a single blow.
Now you can jump straight at Gorm and kill him with the Hidden Blade. If you didn't get better items in Vinlandia, escape from the camp after eliminating Gorm. This will complete the quest and you will receive 3,400 XP as a reward.
