Metro Exodus is a purebred shooter and although we don't fight countless hordes of enemies, we often need a lot of ammunition to be able to handle the threats. Tip #1 Search the corpses of soldiers and bandits

The rule is simple - when someone shoots at you, they usually have a supply of ammunition on them. It is always worth to search the bodies of people whom you've killed. Of course, monsters and other paranormal beasts attack with tusks and claws, so they will not carry any additional equipment.

Tip #2 Explore

In Metro Exodus, there are a lot of buildings that are optional in exploration - search the contents of boxes, chests, or simply lift objects from the ground to get additional ammunition from time to time. It's a good idea to have a habit of searching the room you're in, as you'll usually find some extra ammunition there.

Tip #3 Create ammunition at workbenches

In Volga, you can unlock the ability to use workbenches where you can create additional items, upgrade equipment and produce ammunition. Always try to replenish your supplies when you set off on missions. Unfortunately, you cannot create ammunition using the backpack.
