The NPCs encountered in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga speak many different languages. This page of the guide explains how to interpret unknown languages or dialects.

Sometimes you may encounter a character speaking in an unknown language. The dialogue box will be filled with strange icons instead of regular text.

Each NPC speaking in an unknown language has a specific icon above their head. Usually you can use a protocol droid to interpret their speech. Sometimes though you may need a specific character, such as Episode 7 Han Solo. He's the only one who can understand Kanjiklub members.
