Bored With The Sims 4? Refresh Them With These Mods in 2023!
The Sims is one of the most phenomenal series of video games, especially if you consider that it's been around for nearly two decades. The latest installment, The Sims 4, is sure a fun game, but you can make it even better with our selection of mods!
Zombie Apocalypse - (un)living Sims
I never thought that the colorful setting of The Sims 4 would ever contain a carnage straight out of The Walking Dead. And I don't mean a simple mod that adds some textures. The Zombie Apocalypse mod makes Sims function in a harsh environment. It starts with a breeze. Just a few zombies coming out of the ground, which you can get rid of quite easily with a few shots from a shotgun, or rifle. The problem begins when the virus starts spreading. No one is safe then.
Although the whole thing revolves around the well-known zombie apocalypse theme, the author approached the work with diligence, and introduced a lot of new content to the game. As an uninfected sim, you are given a firearm, which requires replenishing ammo. Special sprays that mimic the smell of corpses are also available, allowing you to sneak safely between groups of zombies. Fighting a big group often ends up in getting you infected. It doesn't mean the end of the game – it's just that the rules change. Now, your goal will be to infect as many Sims as possible. The mod also introduces boss fights of sorts – both in the living and undead communities.
HOW TO START?
By default, you begin the zombie apocalypse by visiting the store. You can get there by clicking on the Sim you are currently controlling and entering the modification options. Now decide which side of the conflict you want to take. If you prefer to become a zombie right away – buy the Zombification Virus and use it on your character. And if you're interested in fighting for survival, buy a radio and listen to the police news. In this case, it's also a good idea to get some weapons, because after a while, many zombies will appear in your vicinity. The third (most hardcore) option is to choose to infect all nearby sims.
