Bored With The Sims 4? Refresh Them With These Mods in 2023!
The Sims is one of the most phenomenal series of video games, especially if you consider that it's been around for nearly two decades. The latest installment, The Sims 4, is sure a fun game, but you can make it even better with our selection of mods!
Mortem – death isn't fun
Death in Sims 4 has never been taken seriously. After the death of a Sim (whether due to an accident or simply old age), the Grim Reaper appears and takes the unlucky sim to the afterlife. Sure, the relative sims of the deceased will shed a tear, but after a while, they'll go about their business like nothing happened, and the dead must do without a proper funeral.
The mod called Mortem completely rebuilds this. After installing it, the death must be certified by a doctor (I warn you, do not call doctors unnecessarily – they do not like it and immediately impose a financial penalty), and the corpse is placed in a black bag and transported to the morgue. Word travels fast, so don't be surprised if neighbors show up with condolences. After a few days, it's time to bid the last farewell – the funeral home will help with this, and you will arrange the specifics of the burial. Then, at the ceremony, the sims will be able to give eulogies. And if you cannot afford a funeral, or the deceased did not deserve it – you can just bury the corpse in the garden.
