Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth features Kamurocho known to fans of the series. On this guide page, we explain when you can go to Kamurocho and under what circumstances you return to this iconic location.
Unlocking the option to travel to Kamurocho
- You cannot visit Kamurocho for the first several dozen hours of the game. The heroes will be moving between 2 other maps - Isezaki Ijincho (Yokohama) and Honolulu (Hawaii). This will change during chapter 8.
- As you progress in the chapter, you will unlock the Bucket List mechanic for Kiryu, and you will also receive the main mission objective to reach the Cabaret Club. After leaving Kasuga's apartment, you will learn about new Memoirs of a Dragon collectibles and the game will display a message that you can visit Kamurocho.
Reaching the new map
- Reach any taxi in Yokohama.
- Go all the way down the list to find the Travel to Kamurocho option. The cost of the trip is the same as for a "regular" fast travel - it's only 500 yen.
You cannot travel to Kamurocho from Hawaii. You have to wait until the story moves back to Isezaki Ijincho, or finish the main storyline.
- On the Kamurocho map, you can primarily look for new Memoirs of a Dragon collectibles you need for completing the entire collection. These are Kiryu's memories of his past adventures.
- In Kamurocho, heroes also have access to bars, restaurants, Alo-Happy Room (job/character appearance change), and locations with mini-games.
You may encounter high-level enemies in Kamurocho. It's worth first developing the party through random battles or visit the dungeons in Yokohama.
