Stealing a boat in the port is another task Artyom is facing in Metro Exodus. The following page shows two variants of the mission: combat and silent.
Note! Complete all side activities before you start this mission. After stealing the boat, you won't be able to go back to the Volga!
Go to the indicated place and then climb the ladders and stairs to the top of the crane. You'll meet Anna, who'll tell you about the next steps. The first task will be getting the boat, which is guarded by a group of enemies - local merchants. This moment of the game determines the further course of events and the end of the adventures of Artyom.
If you want to get a good ending and make one of your companions survive the final events in Volga - you have to choose a stealthy variant. If, on the other hand, you want to the bad ending - kill your enemies.
The offensive approach
There's not much philosophy here - all you have to do is start fighting against bandits from the very beginning kill them all. You will quickly alarm the rest and face a major shootout. Exterminate more enemies and head to the boat.
Exterminate more enemies and head to the boat. Get inside the ship and you'll meet the last merchant there - after the cut-scene, you'll take control of the boat.
Stealth approach
Your goal is to reach the boat marked in the picture above. You need to do it quietly - you don't want to alarm the enemies. If you fail to remain undetected, stun enemies (but don't kill them!).
Jump down when you get closer to the boat. Hide behind large objects to avoid being detected.
The ladder is at the end of the building. Use it to go down.
An enemy awaits you at the bottom. Distract him with a can, get behind him and stun. Stay away from larger groups of enemies.
Go down the stairs. The boat awaits you.
