Stalker G.A.M.M.A. offers a very large open world, the exploration of which is rewarding in itself. However, due to the considerable size of the map, you should expect getting from one point to another to be time-consuming, especially if the locations are at two different ends of the map. Fortunately, there is a fast travel function in the game. To use it, however, you need to unlock it beforehand in the game's options.
A quick trip through the game options
- Go to Settings -> Gameplay -> Fast Travel
- If you want to be able to travel when your character is injured, in the middle of a fight, overloaded, etc., simply check the corresponding options.
- Then open the map, select the place you are interested in, where you can get to via fast travel, and move there.
At this point it is worth noting that before moving to an unknown location you should save the game, because there is a possibility that you will suddenly find yourself in hostile territory, surrounded by a large group of enemies.
