Scheduled for release at the end of this year (although there is still no specific date), The Thaumaturge - an isometric RPG from 11 bit studios - is approaching. The studio responsible for the game is Fool's Theory, who is also making, among other things, the emerging remake of the first Witcher.

It is known that in The Thaumaturge a large role will be played by the plot, which will enable us to soak in the atmosphere of the Polish capital in 19th century. However, the down-to-earth affairs of the period of the late Russian partition will be mixed with supernatural events shrouded in mystery, and there will be terrifying phantoms and creatures in the background. All this will be complemented by a turn-based combat system.

If the above description has interested you, you will soon be able to see The Thaumaturge for yourself. The developers have announced that a demo version of the game will be available to try out at the upcoming Steam Next Fest.

Steam Next Fest will run from October 9 to 16 and during this period it will be possible to try out pre-release versions of quite a few games.

Will The Thaumaturge turn out to be one of the "winners" of the autumn festival on Steam? We will find out soon. The release date of the full version of the game is still unknown, although on the product card on Steam reads that the latter will be "available soon".
