On this page of the LEGO Skywalker Saga game guide, you can find a description of the second confrontation with Count Dooku. This is a boss fight from Episode 3 (Revenge of the Sith), it takes place during the Out for the Count level. In our walkthrough, you will learn, among others how to defend yourself against the Count's attacks, how to weaken the boss and how to eliminate the droids sent by Dooku.
You faced Count Dooku earlier in The Battle of the Jedi from Episode 2. That fight is described on a separate page of the bosses chapter.
Location of the second fight with Dooku
The second duel with Count Dooku takes place at the end of the first stage of Episode 3 - Out for the Count level. The fight will begin after you reach the room with Palpatine.
Description of the boss fight
The main part of the fight with Count Dooku looks similar to the one from Episode 2. To attack the boss, you should use the lightsaber throw (R2 or RT, LMB on PC), which is very effective and reduces the risk of getting hit.
The boss' moveset is nearly unchanged:
- Red lines and circles show the areas his most powerful attacks cover. Quickly dodge away if you find yourself there.
- Dooku can use Force Choke on you - break free by tilting the left analog stick from side to side or quickly alternating between the left and right directional keys.
When one of Dooku's health bars gets low you must approach him and enter a blade lock. Rhytmically press the displayed button to overpower him.
After Dooku loses a health bar he becomes invulnerable so don't try to attack him. You must eliminate the droids sent onto the arena instead. Attacks with Force (F on PC, Triangle on PS, Y on Xbox) are good for weakening them - you can attack without aiming or you can grab a droid and throw it at other enemies. You can also use lightsaber attacks.
Deplete all of Dooku's health bars to win the fight.
