Blessed Are the Meek? is the title of one of missions available after you get to second chapter of the main story in Red Dead Redemption 2. This mission concerns the rescue of Micah, who is being held in Strawberry prison. After he is released, you have to break through the city and successfully escape.
How to unlock mission: Visit the Strawberry Prison.
Mission walkthrough: When you reach Strawberry, go to prison to talk to the local law enforcement officers. You can already leave the building. Reach the bottom window of the prison cell as shown in the picture and talk to Micah. You will have to release him.
You have to demolish the prison wall and you can do this in two ways. The first method is to use a dynamite if you have one. Throw the dynamite at the wall and move to a safe distance.
The second method is to use a nearby steam machine. Catch the hook, reach the window with it and attach it to the grilles. Then pull the lever.
Start by wearing a bandana (select it from the drop-down menu), so that you won't make any problems in Strawberry. If you ignore this activity after completing the mission, the main hero will be wanted with a big bounty reward for catching him.
A long journey through the city will begin, during which you have to follow Micah (he wants to reach several places). Help him eliminate emerging enemies - Micah mustn't die, because you will fail the mission. Also, remember not to set up yourself in an open space, because you can become an easy target for your enemies. If several enemies suddenly appear in the area, consider using your Dead Eye ability.
After Micah "fixes things" in one of the huts, march through the city again. Kill more enemies and reach horses to start your escape from the city. During the escape you will be attacked by enemy riders. Shooting them in a standard way can be problematic. A better solution is to use Dead Eye.
The mission will end when you move away from Strawberry. As a reward you will receive a second holster (Off-Hand Holster) - from that moment you can use two handguns at the same time.
How to get a gold medal in the Blessed Are The Meek?
- Kill the law guardians on horses in less than 55 seconds while escaping. It's best to help yourself with a Dead Eye that lets you easily get rid of all visible enemies.
- Do 15 accurate headshots. Try to make perfect shots, especially during fights in the city, as it's easier to target carefully.
- Complete with at least 70% accuracy. Improve your accuracy by completing the previous challenge. Also use your Dead Eye skill during your escape on horses.
- Complete the mission without using health restoring items. Do not position yourself in the open space during the Strawberry fights, because it is easy to get under fire.
